They specialise in providing top-tier Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) / Managed Services, focusing on accounting, regulatory compliance, and legal services for financial institutions worldwide.  With an ambitious growth plan, their culture thrives on high levels of efficiency, performance and continuous innovation, and they are seeking a dynamic leader to help them scale new heights and revolutionise their managed services operations.

This high-impact role offers the opportunity to re-shape and scale their global managed services division, directly influencing the customer experience across international markets and future company growth targets.  It’s a strategic role leading a global team of over 70 members (currently) and the objective is to reorganise, scale, and elevate their BPO services to deliver unparalleled efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the global managed services / BPO group, driving growth, scalability, and standardization across processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.  You will have the freedom and flexibility to (in fact they will want you to) to review their managed services operations and reshape as you feel fit in order to ensure best industry practice and scalability for rapid growth.
  • Team Development: Lead, recruit, and develop the BPO service team, enhancing product and client facing expertise, business acumen, and fostering professional growth.
  • Innovation and Efficiency: Drive automation initiatives and serve as the primary stakeholder for the output of the tech org’s automation team.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a senior-level point of contact for global managed services engagements and an advisory figure to the internal leadership team.
  • Performance Metrics: Own revenue, cost, and margin metrics, while identifying opportunities to accelerate service excellence and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Maintain oversight on customer onboarding projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Working in tandem with cross-functional teams across teh company including sales, relationship management, technology and product management leadership.

Measures of Success

  • Meeting and exceeding key business outcomes including gross margin targets and efficiency improvements, particularly those impacted by automation.
  • Driving excellence in onboarding programs and product adoption to enable swift customer milestones.
  • Meeting employee engagement targets and exceeding professional development goals within the team.

Candidate Profile

  • This is a business process outsourcing driven managed service proposition, so looking for a strong operational leadership background.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading managed service / BPO delivery service teams.
  • Domain experience in the areas of either accounting, fund services, regulatory compliance, or legal services for financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated capability in scaling service teams and developing talent.
  • Technical acumen with a deep understanding of relevant processes and emerging technologies that can be leveraged to optimize business practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, ability to influence, and foster a global collaborative spirit.
  • MBA preferred (but but not required).
